Thought About Having A Spread Bet At The World Cup?

    By OnTopic | July 27, 2010

World Cup Spread Betting is one of the most exciting ways to bet on the World Cup. This is how to do it.

Spread Betting is a game of going Higher or Lower than the spread price. In short if you think the result will end up higher than that number you go High. This is known as a Buy

If you think the result will end up lower than the number you go Low. This is known as a Sell. For example the Total Number of Goals in the World Cup is priced at 159-161. Think there will be more or less goals than that in the 64 games.

If you went High at 161 Goals (called a Buy) and there were 170 goals in the Tournament you would be right by 9 goals. If you bet at £2 per Goal that would be an £18 win.

If you made a Buy at 161 Goals at £2 per goal and there were only 150 goals you would have been wrong by 11 goals. At £2 per goal that’s a £22 loss

The excitement of spread betting is that the more right you are about your prediction the more you win

There are 1000s of spread bets on the World Cup ranging from the less volatile like Total England Goals, to the more volatile – Fastest Goal of the Tournament

There are 390-300 yellow cards predicted at this year’s World Cup. Since 1990 this Total Yellows has increased each tournament. There were 317 in 2006.

So consider Spread Betting for the World Cup. Make your opinion count
